The professor and member of the ILLA Group will participate in the commemorative events for Galician Literature Day 2016 at the Faculty of Philology of the University of A Coruña.
On Thursday, May 5, at 1:00 PM, the commemorative events for Galician Literature Day, dedicated this year to the poet, narrator, playwright, and academic of the Galician language Manuel María, will take place in the Salón de Grados at the Faculty of Philology.
To review Manuel María's work and impact, the event will feature two prominent experts on his literary production: writer and journalist Manuel López Foxo, and Xosé Ramón Freixeiro Mato, a member of the ILLA Group and professor at the University of A Coruña.
During the celebration, the results of the XXIII Literary Creation and Essay Award will also be announced, and the awards and commendations will be presented to the winners.
