This protocol formalises an agreement between the AGT and UDC, which covers joint activities by this institution and ILLA
The signed document contains the forecast of various scientific activities by both entities and provides a common framework to specify future means of collaboration. The agreement has a duration of four years, the maximum allowed by the University of A Coruña, and may be renewed at the initiative of either party.
The Academia Galega de Teatro, born in 2017, has among its objectives to promote the development of arts and sciences related to theater, recognizing and disseminating the professionalism and artistic excellence of its people in order to stimulate in Galician society the fundamental value of theater. The institution aims to build bridges between the various visions of Galician theater to enrich its heritage, organizing conferences, seminars and congresses of artistic, scientific, political or sociocultural content. In addition, the AGT aims to disseminate its work in society and before public administration, promoting intercultural and international exchanges, creating services dedicated to the study and research of the interaction between theater and new technologies, and any other activity aimed at raising the artistic, technical and scientific level of the various theatrical professions.
