Research Conference "Destruír raias, construír pontes: estudos queer na Galiza e Portugal"
June 6, 10 p.m.
Meeting Room of the Faculty of Philology and Translation (University of Vigo)

The conference is organized by the ILLA research group, the BiFeGa group, and the José Saramago Chair at the University of Vigo.

This research conference revolves around the exploration and reflection on queer studies within the sociocultural contexts of Galicia and Portugal, with a particular focus on the intersection of identity, language, literature, gender, and borders. Through this event, an academic space is proposed to make queer discourses visible, to question them, and to articulate them from a transnational and interdisciplinary perspective.
