The lecture explores how the journal *Festa da Palabra Silenciada* contributed to raising the profile and legitimising contemporary Galician women writers, and how it served to forge support networks amongst them, through an analysis of the ‘Creación’ section, the ‘Escrito por mulleres’ subsection and the dedications between authors.
