Professor Cilha Lourenço Módia, a member of ILLA, has successfully passed the tests to achieve the category of Contracted PhD Lecturer.
Cilha Lourenço had been teaching in the area of Galician and Portuguese Philology –attached to the Department of Letters - of the University of A Coruña, in the position of Assistant Professor and, in recent months, as a Interim Substitute Professor. In her research career stand out contributions to the history of Galician theater, singularly tose on the genesis of the Independent Theater, the subject of her doctoral thesis.
The evaluation panel, chaired by the Dean of the Faculty of Philology, M.ª Jesús Lorenzo, valued very positively the trajectory of the professor and highlighted her experience and results as a teacher in the field of Galician and Portuguese languages.
ILLA wants to send its most cordial congratulations to the new Contracted PhD Lecturer and wish her the greatest success in the future.
