The dissertation was oriented by Carlos Biscainho and Laura Tato, members of ILLA

Luis Miguel Antelo Lema's research, A crise identitaria no sistema teatral galego do século XXI: tensións entre o valor económico e o compromiso cunha identidade cultural diferenciada, deserved the highest qualification according to the view of the committee, chaired by Professor Elias Torres Feijó, from USC, and formed by the professors Iolanda Ogando, from University of  Extremadura, and Carme Fernández Pérez-Sanjulián, from UDC, who acted as the secretary.

The research draws from the premise that the progressive introduction of market economy in the Galician dramatic system resulted into its identity crisis. Focusing on a series of economic, political, social and linguistic factors, the tensions observed specially in the 21st century work as a reference for the evaluation of the state of the fight that different agents taking part in the drama production line are currently holding, between the economic profit of the shows and social impact in favour of the minoritised Galician cultural identity.
