Eduardo Pondal, o cantor do eido noso is a collection of four re-edited and/or extended essays about the poet and his work. Spanning twenty-five years of research into the life and poetry of the bard, the analyses focus on Pondal’s life (1991), the Galician national anthem (2003), Os Eoas (2008) and the literary language created through his work (2014). The appendices to the volume feature an extensive selection of Pondal’s correspondence and an interview with the poet by La Voz de Galicia in 1912.
