Collaborators

Graduated in Language and Literature (UFRGS) and in Advertising and Marketing (PUCRS). He has teaching experience in secondary education, holds a PhD in Language and Literature from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, with an emphasis on Contemporary Portuguese Literature, and completed a doctoral period at the University of Lisbon (CAPES scholarship). He is the Coordinator of the Language and Literature – Portuguese and its Literatures program, professor of Literature and Creative Writing at the School of Humanities of PUCRS, with an emphasis on Literatures in Portuguese, a permanent faculty member of the Graduate Program in Language and Literature (PUCRS), member of the Structuring Teaching Nucleus of the undergraduate programs in Portuguese Language and Creative Writing, and member of the Council of the School of Humanities at PUCRS.

He conducted postdoctoral research at the Centre for Comparative Studies, Faculty of Letters, University of Lisbon, with a CAPES scholarship. He is one of the founding professors of the Higher Education Course in Creative Writing Technology at PUCRS. He leads the research group Narrative Cartographies in Portuguese Language: Networks and Plots of Subjectivity (CNPq), which includes two subgroups: one focused on Contemporary Portuguese Literature and another on Creative Writing. He was editor-coordinator of the journal Navegações.

He is a member of the International Association of Lusitanists (AIL), and served as Regional Representative (Region 5) of ABRAPLIP for 2022–2023. He was area coordinator (Language and Literature) of the PIBID project at PUCRS and a member of the coordinating team of the International Licentiate Program/CAPES 2012, at the Faculty of Letters. He is the author of dozens of articles, especially on hypercontemporary Portuguese literature, and editor of the works José Saramago: O inventor de Bússolas, O outro, esse estranho, Inventário da infância: O universo não adulto na narrativa, Mínimo Múltiplo Incomum and A criação da memória: rastros autobiográficos na Literatura Portuguesa.
