The conference is titled 'No ronsel de Seoane: a recreación da Galicia medieval en Na brétema, Sant-Iago'.
Luís Seoane López (Buenoas Aires, 1910 - A Coruña, 1979) is one of the most representative and prominent figures of Galician culture. In his vas body of work, characterized by high artistic and literary quality, he demonstrated a genuine fascination with Galicia's medieval past. This conference will explore Seoane's medievalism, specifically in his second book of poems: Na brétema, Sant-Iago, a work that occupies a prominent place in the Galician lyric of American exile and is highly representative of multifaceted creator's enduring interest in medieval Galicia.
Jorge Carril Espido (A Coruña, 1999) holds degrees in Galician-Portuguese and Spanish from the University of A Coruña. He is currently pursuing a Master's in Teacher Traininf at the University of Santiago de Compostela.
The event will take place at the headquarters of the Agrupación Cultural Alexandre Bóveda (rúa Santo André, 36, 1º)
