The edition of the *Cantigas de Amigo* has won the award in the Social Sciences and Humanities Research category
The Universo Cantigas project, led by Professor Manuel Ferreiro and of which Professor Leticia Eirín is also a member – both being members of the ILLA group – has just been awarded this prestigious prize for the volume Universo Cantigas. II. Cantigas de Amigo, which brings together the 501 Galician-Portuguese *cantigas de amigo* preserved in medieval songbooks.
ILLA congratulates the editorial team on this prestigious award; the team also includes Bieito Arias Freixedo, from the University of Vigo, and Mariña Arbor, from the University of Santiago de Compostela.
