The ILLA member is taking part as a guest speaker at the International Seminar on Iberian Literatures of Memory.
This event forms part of the research project “Representations of processes of violence in the recent past in 21st-century Iberian literature” (LITIBER), coordinated by Professor Cristina Somolinos, which aims to provide a comprehensive and comparative overview of representations of the memory of 20th-century dictatorial violence within the Iberian cultural sphere, based on an analysis of 21st-century literary texts in Portuguese, Catalan, Galician, Spanish and Basque.
The ILLA researcher will deliver the paper entitled “Documenting to rethink the violence of 1936 through dramatic discourse: *O Péndulo* (2022) by Marta Pérez and Ernesto Is”.
