The Xornadas de Teatro de Vigo, held between 1972-1978, were born with a renewing spirit and aimed to connect the city's groups with other foreign theatrical proposals. The Mostras de Teatro Galego, organized between 1975 and 1979, were a way to give visibility to the normalizations of Galician theater, which had already begun by the Asociación Cultural Abrente in 1973 with the Mostras de Ribadavia. Both events fostered the exchange of experiences and contributed to the training of these amateur groups. Dolores Miloro conducts a rigorous and well-documented study of these two events, which are fundamental to understanding the dynamics of Galician thater during the political transition.
