Professor Xosé Ramón Freixeiro Mato, member of ILLA, wins the "16th ‘Rosalía de Castro’ Award for the Promotion of the Galician Language."

Xosé Ramón Freixeiro Mato, Emeritus Professor in the Area of Galician and Portuguese Philology at the University of A Coruña and member of the ILLA research group, has just won the “Rosalía de Castro Award for the Promotion of the Galician Language” in Category A, which honors individuals who stand out for their contribution to the promotion of high-quality Galician and their commitment to its use and revitalization.

The award, organized by the Provincial Council of A Coruña, is celebrating its sixteenth edition this year.
