Mil e un Cunqueiros is an electronic anthology of the 7 lectures, 25 papers and 4 round table discussions presented as part of the Álvaro Cunqueiro centenary conference in 2011 (28 September – 1 October). The book is organised on a thematic basis, and includes an appendix of contributions from the various local discussion groups organised by the Consello da Cultura (‘Galician Agency for Culture’) in towns and cities across Spain (Madrid, Ferrol, Pontevedra, Barcelona).

The anthology represents a radical departure in literary research from traditional Cunqueiro studies, and sets the stage for at least another 1001 years of reading pleasure and critical analysis of the work one of our most original writers.
