Iberianist researcher in the fields of literature and translation, with special attention to Galician literature.
She is an adjunct professor and head of the Department of Spanish Philology at the Institute of Romance Philology at the Jagiellonian University (Krakow) and directs the Center for Galician Studies at this university. Her lines of research are Galician literature, Galician culture, the cultural turn in literary studies, posthumanism, ecopoetics, translation studies and musical translation (melics).
Co-editor of the translation magazine Między oryginałem a przekładem, she has also published Almanach Galicyjski (2003, 2007), devoted entirely to Galician culture and literature, and the volume Policromía (2007), on Polish studies on minority languages ​​and cultures in the Iberian Peninsula.
She also stands out for her prolonged work of dissemination and translation into Polish of the work of authors such as Rafael Dieste, Álvaro Cunqueiro, Xosé Luís Méndez Ferrín, Suso de Toro, Manuel Rivas, Claudio Rodríguez and José Hierro.
